Remember the times when you, as a father, stepped up to take care of your pregnant wife? It’s a common experience for many dads out there. Even if some may not have been as fortunate, they can still find solace in watching a heartwarming video of a golden retriever caring for his pregnant mate during labor.
These Golden Retrievers became internet sensations after a video showed them cuddling while sleeping. When the wife woke up, one of the dogs immediately went to adjust the AC temperature. He then grabbed a small basin with his mouth and carried it to the kitchen, where he turned on the faucet with his paw. Proud of himself, he returned to his companion. After she finished her drink, he even fetched her leash. Despite her pregnancy, it’s important for her to stay active, so instead of the owner taking them both to the park, the dog decided to join her by gnawing on the leash.
This gave the father dog a chance to take care of other tasks. During this part of the day, he entered the kitchen to help in getting his partner’s meal ready. Chicken, fish, shrimp, and a variety of vegetables all sounded good. The daddy dog pitched in with cleaning and even handled taking out the trash.

Their once cozy space for two now transformed into a warm and welcoming home for their growing family.
One after another, the puppies came into the world, with their mother by their side. The owners lovingly cleaned each pup before allowing them to nurse from their mother. Throughout this process, the mother dog was fed easily digestible meals to help her recover.
The sweet retriever eventually became a proud father to a litter of seven healthy puppies. Each pup sported a colorful collar, creating a beautiful rainbow effect. Without skipping a beat, the father dog jumped into action, this time taking care of not just one dog but his mate and their precious offspring.
