As I mark the passing of another year with my birthday today, the absence of birthday wishes and blessings casts a shadow over what should be a joyous occasion. Despite the anticipation and hopes for heartfelt messages from friends and loved ones, the day unfolds without the expected flurry of well-wishes. It’s disheartening to feel overlooked and forgotten, left to ponder whether it’s just a stroke of bad luck or a sign of deeper disconnect. Nevertheless, amidst the disappointment, I cling to the belief that perhaps the day still holds potential for unexpected blessings and moments of joy. While the lack of traditional birthday wishes may dampen the spirits momentarily, I remain hopeful that the day will bring its own unique reasons to celebrate and cherish, turning the tide of luck in my favor.
